Cyber Security Instructor | Summer Camp

I worked as a Cyber Security Instructor for the summer camp organized by the National Cybersecurity Academy under the National Cybersecurity Agency. In this role, I was responsible for:

- Support delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, and organizing hands-on labs to optimize learning outcomes.
- Aid in providing timely feedback on assignments and assessments to help students track their progress effectively.
- Assist in mentoring students on career development paths and preparing for industry certifications.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to improve program effectiveness and enhance student engagement.
- Stay informed about industry developments and assist in maintaining professional certifications to ensure course content remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Mentor students through field trips

This role allowed me to share my knowledge and passion for cybersecurity while inspiring and nurturing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

During my job placement, I implemented principles from my cybersecurity and programming classes in the activities and projects I completed. They gave me hands-on experience in detecting and reducing security threats, which was crucial for my advancement as an IT specialist. Through the integration of theory and practice, these activities improved my problem-solving and communication abilities, effectively preparing me for employment in the IT industry in the future.

As a Student Assistant at the Partnerships and Engagement Department, I handled and organized documents, contracts, and agreements. My responsibilities included inputting and managing data, and occasionally assisting with basic data analysis to support decision-making. I prioritized tasks and consistently met deadlines while demonstrating problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Additionally, I maintained confidentiality and adhered to ethical standards throughout my work.
